The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had a fantastic weekend at Bear Rails Camp site in Windows Great Park in May. The Sun was shining and the Sections took part in many activities.

The Beavers visited Brooklands Museum in April.
Esher District Cross Country
The Esher District Cross Country race in April had a good turnout from all sections. Congratulations to Euan for winning the Scout Category.
Beaver Roman Party
The Beavers took part in a Roman themed party in February.
Group Awards Evening & 91st Birthday
2nd Molesey’s Annual Awards & Birthday celebrations were held at Vine Hall on the 17th November 2017. We had good attendance from leaders, helpers, parents and group members which made for a great evening.

The President’s Cup was awarded to Philip K for his outstanding contributions to the 2nd Molesey Scout Group.

Halloween 2017
Our annual Halloween party held at the Scout Hut which was attended by Beavers, Cubs, Rainbows and Brownies.
The children had an excellent time with Dancing, Games, Prizes for the best costume and generally scaring the living daylights out of the adults.
Beaver Fun Day – Polyapes 2017
The Beaver fun day was themed on Pirates with lots of activities including a treasure hunt, inflatable slide, tug of war and cooked fruit kebabs.
The afternoon was finished off with a Camp fire.
Linkenholt – 2017
The group camp was held in Linkenholt near Hampshire.
The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts camped for three nights in tents. They took part in Shooting, Archery, Jason’s Bubble mania, Smoothie making on a bike and a day Hike followed by a Camp fire with songs and toasted marsh mellows.
The Beavers took part in a nature trail and bug hunting.
ESHER DISTRICT BEAVER PARTY
22 Beavers had a great afternoon at the District Beaver party. The theme was Pinocchio and activities were based around that story. There was puppet making, Pinocchio biscuits to assemble, Jiminy Cricket spring toys to make as well as games to take part in. We had a theatre production based on the story of Pinocchio. All the Beavers went home with a huge smile and thoroughly worn out. A great afternoon.
