We took our Cubs for a Kayaking taster session on the River Thames last week, and had a great time having some fun on the water, and learning a new skill.
A big thank you to 1st Molesey Scout Group for taking us out on the water, and using their Kayaks and Instructors.
Our annual Cub Camp this year was held at Downe Scout Activity Centre.
We had a fantastic time taking part in activities like Aerial runway, Archery and Crate Stacking. We got to build on and use a number of skills that we have been working on throughout the year, and we were able to demonstrate those skills, especially our ability to work as a team. We had great weather for camp, but we were glad of the shade and coolness that camping amongst the trees gave us.
A big thank you to all the volunteers that helped with camp, and I hope you enjoyed the activities too!
The Cubs attended District Cub Camp at Polyapes in June. Lots of activities throughout the site including our Assault course which was built and manned by some of the Scouts.
Overall a fun filled weekend.
The Cubs and Scouts went to Youlbury in Oxford for their Activity camp in June.

For many of the Cubs it was their first time taking part in Archery and Shooting and they did very well.
The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had a fantastic weekend at Bear Rails Camp site in Windows Great Park in May. The Sun was shining and the Sections took part in many activities.
