Molesey Carnival
Fantastic weather for the parade again this year. Thank you to all the Leaders, Helpers and Parents that manned the BBQ, Tombola and Plate smash stalls.
The Cubs and Beavers looked fantastic in the parade and won the ‘Chris Hill’s Cup’.

Group Awards Evening & 91st Birthday
2nd Molesey’s Annual Awards & Birthday celebrations were held at Vine Hall on the 17th November 2017. We had good attendance from leaders, helpers, parents and group members which made for a great evening.

The President’s Cup was awarded to Philip K for his outstanding contributions to the 2nd Molesey Scout Group.

Scoutabout – 2017
2nd Molesey Scouts attended “Scoutabout” in July, held at the South of England Showground in Ardingly. Scoutabout runs once every three years, and most Scouts typically only ever get to attend once.
Approximately 5,000 Scouts and Guides from all over Surrey participated this year with the event offering over 200 activities including Caving, Archery, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Crafts and Shooting.
Evening entertainment was on par with a Music Festival and had performances from Hanna Doorman, David Croslett and Britan’s Got Talent star Reuben Grey.
